I think I have completed all the upgrades that I plan to do on my 98C. Let me know if there is anything that you think I could/should add for performance (woodsball/scenario). Currently running:

98C w/response, Lapco Bigshot 12", Revvy, Phsyco Double Trigger, X Chamber, Dead On Drop

Now as far as the internals. I am somewhat ignorant as far as they go. The bolt is looking a lil rough and probably wouldnt hurt to replace it soon. Should I just stick with Tippman parts or go aftermarket ?

And finally can someone please explain polishing the internals to me.

Thanks

Always stick with the stock Tippmann Internals.

As for polishing you internals, you just go over the inside of your reciever halves with #000 steel wool. There is a sticky on this in Upgrades And Customizing.

^Yep Stock is fine, I like the Dead-On Aluminum valve body kit tho. Youll never have to worry about it splitting like the stock plastic.

Search here on the site on how to polish your internals. If you have a dremel and a metal polishing kit your set. Ya just need to know how and where to polish... search_form.asp?FID=1" target="_self" class="nav">Search The ForumSearch

I'd personally get the SupaFly' bolt, just cause it's Delrin, and Delrin>Plastic. But you really don't need aftermarket internals. And they have a great article on http://www.98central.net - www.98central.net on polishing the internals.

Dead On kit I mentioned comes with a new Alum. bolt with a delrin sleeve. It worked just fine in my ol A-5.

I think you should get an HPA tank and ditch the x-chamber for a secondary regulator.

I have given that much consideration and eventually will probably get off of my wallet and go that route.

Yep.  Polish the internals, but go for stock internals.  I haven't had a problem with my valve body.  Never split on me.  You could go for that or go a little more for the aluminum kit from DOP.
