So I got a look at an SP-8 at the proshop the other day.  Didn't shoot it, but toyed around with it a bit.

Clever concept, IMO, very customizable.  I like the "mag" that slips out.  Interesting trigger feel.

But boy does it feel plasticky and cheap.  I like the idea of custom shells for quasi-Ions, but I think they skimped on materials on the SP-8.

I've never shot it, but if it feels anything like an Ion, I don't think I'm going to bother.
