Eyes detect whether or not a paintball is in the breech ready to be
fired. If there is not one in teh breech, or more importantly, one
halfway in the breech, the marker will not fire. This eliminates
chopping paint

guys i took out a player with an ion who thought he was all pro and **edited** with my ariakon overlord pistol! lol every ion player i have encountered is slow shooting and not very dangerous, boiz with electras and pilots wworry me cause there usually pumpin out 30 bps and shooting it very strait... ------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. |

lol its not an argument... my friend mike can send out 30 bps with his electra, and can consistantly do 27, there is a machine that mesures these things...... and he toped over 25.... (jus so u know when a spyder goes over its maximum bps it uncocks and he can do that when he chooses), u jus have to be quick with ur fingers... and he is, thats all im sayin ------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. |

woods_balla69 why did you make a poll when it seems you have already
made up your mind.....just because you beat a ion with a lower level
marker that doesn't reflect the ion it reflects the player or a lucky
shot.

they dont make a loader that goes up to 30bps... i think the tops is bout 23bps( and that may be pushin it)... any ways havent you herd of "quality not quanity" .... whats the tournament cap at nowa days anyway? ------------- 98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. That'd be right. The Victory board can go up to 35 bps. I prefer the Ion over the Spyder Electras.
I don't think the rocking trigger is illegal in tournaments. It's really just the same thing as using both fingers and walking any other electronic marker. The Electra just has two contact points instead of one but you still have to hit them each time so I don't think it really helps you shoot "twice as fast". The eyes would be the main reason I'd go with the Ion. If you're trying to shoot fast, you need the eyes to avoid chopping. The Spyder ACS bolt is designed to collapse on a ball and recock with chopping, which is good, but I'd prefer the marker didn't fire at all until a ball is in the breech ready to go. Another option to consider the Diablo Wrath.
