I am looking into buying a HPA tank.  I dont know if I should buy a 3000psi, 4500psi, 48cu,72, etc.......

4500 psi will give you more shots per tank than a 3000. So I'd get that, unless where you get your tanks filled can't fill up to 4500 psi. And 68 cu is the average size tank. Now depending on how many shots per tank you want to get, then you might want to get a bigger/smaller tank.

As a general rule shots per tank go as such:

3000psi=10 shots per cubic inch
4500psi=15 shots per cubic inch
5000psi=20 shots per cubic inch

So 68 multiplied by 15 is? 1020

its a nice round number for shots

Of course it varries due to the efficency of the gun.

I just bought a 91/4500 and i was exspecting it to be huge but it wasn't at all and you can get almost 2000 shots off of it.

I would also suggest looking into a vrossire tank , they make great tanks.
