Both are good markers. In my experience, reliability is more a factor of how well you, as the owner, take care of the marker. The Prostock, being an AutoCocker, has literally thousands of upgrades available. The Nerve, which out-of-the-box will get 1300ish shots from a 68/45, comes stock with a Q-Lock, and Freak back, really doesn't need any.

Shoot 'em both, see what you like. That's the biggest factor

autocockers are REALLY upgradeable, so if you like customizing

but the nerves are great they are $680 new on orderpaintball.com

the nerve needs no ups and is nice id get that

plus my friends always tinker with there autocockers (1 with e2) and somehow they have to replace or fix something because of sliding and hitting the ground

autocockers need (according to a guy at my proshop) almost 3 hours of maintanence for one day of play (at least with a Karnivore). so nerve is the way to go!

Go for the Nerve. They're relatively cheap at the moment, and, for the most part, require no upgrades.

I do not think an autococker would require three hours of play per time used. I have never owned one, but some of my buddies shoot them. They do not take care of their stuff all that well, and their markers shoot fine. Timing may be a challenge, but most fields or pro shops can do it for you at a nominal fee. Like stated above the Nerve is great out of the box, the Autococker is good but not great out of the box. Shoot both and see how they feel to you. I like upgrading and customizing myself and would side with the Autococker, but everyone has a different opinion.
