Is it a manuel or did you ruin it and get an auto? Cause real men
drive sticks. Plus all that V-8 goodness can only be truly felt with a
stick.
Either way have fun.

A red trans am convervtible was my dream car when I turned 16. I bought a 96 Monte Carlo instead ($$$), then went to a 97 Mustang GT red 5-speed, then last year when I turned 18 I traded for a new 05 Ram 1500 single cab. And I still plan on getting that Trans Am someday...Meh, probably not.

my first car is going to be a 1991 Ford Bronco. I should have it by the
end of next week, if my friend isn't lazy. All he needs to do is stop
the leak in the fuel line, and change the fuse box. He knows I want it,
hopefull he'll get a move on.
I'll get pics/vids when I finally get it.

Good choice on the manuel. Instead of a turbo, you should
consider a supercharger. The supercharger would provied more
power throughout the entire rpm range, as opposed to the high rev boost
of a turbo. Overall the turbo would give you more power, but the
supercharger would give you more USABLE power.
Or you could just leave it alone, it's got 310hp and 340lb tourque!!!
Either way sweet ride, GET SOME PICS!!!

It's a double standard man. You can lie and try to make up a story and everyone will tell you that it would have been better for you to fess up to it to begin with. Or like you've done, you lied and then got caught but fessed up to it, yet we still flame you. Oh well. Props for not trying to say 'my dads' uncles cousin is the one who listed the car and we bought it from him...' but i take back the props given cause you lied and it's not a good habbit to be in.

I've got 1500 bucks in the bank from working, and my parents will give me 1500. I still have till august untill I get my liscense so I hope to have about 2500 in the bank plus the 1500 of my parents. I plan on getting a 90's yota tacoma 4x4 5spd 6 or 4cyl. Something that will get me around, then be cheap to lift and tune up to the perfect off road rig after I get older and have a second reliable source of transportation. My parents will pay for my insurance. I'm glad Im paying for most of my car, I think I'll hold more respect for it.
But right now my wheels are attached to a fourwheeler. (I just relized that if I wouldnt of bought that Id have a hell of a truck right now)

You really deserve a strike for general lameness. It's bad enough that you gave some BS story about the car, but you're gloating over it like you just pulled off a major con and fooled everybody.
Anyways, my first and so far only car is a 1983 BMW 320i that now has over 150k on it. It's a pretty good first car, cheap, 5 speed, rear wheel drive. It also has a little four-banger that's good on gas and doesn't produce enough power at low RPM to get a new driver in trouble, and it handles well. Learning to drive a rear wheel drive car with a manual transmission in the snow is a good test of driving ability, I crashed it once, but if I didn't need to drive into the snow to avoid the crazed soccer-mom doing 50 in a 30 down the center of the road in a blind curve, that wouldn't have happened. It's easy to fix when something breaks(which due to it's age happens often)and it is pretty rugged. Nothing that has broken on it has been my fault(with the exception of a headlight and side marker in said crash) even though the car has been airborn(note to self: remove foot from accelerator when the rear wheels leave the pavement) and driven very fast on dirt roads.
If you want a safe first car, get something with airbags, ABS, and front drive for the snow, and automatic trasmission, and power windows.
If you want to learn to drive, get a small, underpowered RWD stick-shift without airbags, ABS, crumple zones ect. In the event you want to learn about aggressive drivers, get a BMW. You'll have gangsta's trying to race you at every light, and imbred hillbilly scumbags in jacked up trucks trying to run you off the road for being a "rich **edited** who think's he's too good to buy American", and possibly pelt empty Budweiser bottles at you when you pull over to let him pass. If you live longer than the car, you will be a better driver because of it and have more respect for the road and other drivers.
