I don't look at it as a sport, you only play for a few minutes at a time, and then you have a long break between most games, especially at big tournies. Basically the same way as I see baseball, it's not physically demanding enough for a long enough period of time to be considered a sport...Athletic event, maybe.

    1. Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.
    2. A particular form of this activity.
  1. An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively.

Id consider it one.

Paintball is a game. It's a damn good one but a game none the less. A sport is something wich was useful in life, (fishing, archery, hunting and shizzle) Although because paintball started as a way to mark livestock it could be a sport. Damn that was confusing.

I demand an option of "maybe".

Yes paintball is a game, it takes skill and agility. Though I hav'nt figiured out why the lure, you see in baseball you use a glove to catch the ball, in football your hands, in soccer your feet, and in golf you yell four real loudly so not to hit anybody, those balls hurt or so I have been told by those I have hit.

Now in paintball we sneak and creap, we have no glove, no pads, and hopefully if done right no warning. We get hit repeatly, we scream in pain, then we go get cleaned up and repeat the danm thing over. Why?

I thouht that paintball started as a way of marking trees for forestry?

But I still believe that paintball can be considered as a sport if ur on a
team, practice and train for it and if your all serious about it and go to the
Olympics.

Aside from the amount of money and people involved, what makes football or basketball more of a sport than paintball? Soccer? Baseball?

I find it much more exciting to play than bowling, and Im sure there are plenty of people that agree.

No, going to watch a band play music live that doesnt sound nearly as good as the music on their CD with hundreds of other people you dont know is a waste of money.

I, along with the very vast majority of players, dont sneak or creap, I wear gloves, and pads, and while I do get hit repeatedly, I dont scream because of pain.

You contributed what by saying any of this?
