You should. That hose makes the R/T work.

where would i be able to get one of these hoses? and where does the other bit of the hose attach on to? was i supposed to get a trigger plate aswell?

I would suggest contacting the store you bought the R/T from to get replacement parts, if they will not let you exange your R/T I would call Tippmann.

Holy crap... lol the A-5 doesn't have one... howcome you guys don't know this?! the response trigger has a little metal fitting with a small o-ring on it that slips into another metal fitting in the reciever when the grip is put onto the gun. Your response trigger is fine, thats how it is.
