ok i bought some Draxxus Midnight online and when it came it seemed ok..no broken balls and no visible dents, yet when i went to play almost every ball broke in the barrel in just 1 500 bag. I then tested another bag and no problems yet (just went through about 30).
When i played it was in 20 degree weather, i was using CO2, and used my Lapco Bigshot 14", when i tested it was indoors shooting out my window, w/ CO2, and my Lapco again.
what was the problem, the cold, the shipping, or the ride there (it was icy and bumpy). Also i was using my Scorch 2 and there were no effects at all on them.

It honestly could be nething from the cold to the way they were handled during shipping. Make sure your bags dont have ANY broken balls cause Ive found that the oil inside the paintballs can soften the outside when it gets on others. But mostly it was probably the cold, or cheap balls. Im not familier with that brand but see if u can find a manufactered date. And see about any warrenties n such

It could have been the cold, or mis-handling of the paint. The CO2 in 20* weather defiantly didn't help the situation either.

paintball shells become brittle in cold weather. Normally it takes extreme temperatures to do that but with the situations you've described (i.e. shipping) it could have definately been that. I'm not sure what the paint to barrel match with the lapco and draxxus is but it could alos be that they dont fit quite right. Remember that there are techinically 3 different sizes of paint: .687 .688 .689

Personally I dont like draxxus but whatever. Umm looks like you Sherlock Holmes to solve this mystery. I think it was probably the mix of the co2 in cold weather and the cold. When companies send paint they are usally very carefull.

Take a ball and put it in your barrel and then blow it like a blow dart, if doesn't come out or takes considerable amount of force its your ball to barrel match. If its too tight it will chop.

Yeah, it could be the paint's too big, but usually draxxus stuff is smaller bored than most, and the Bigshot is a pretty big bore.

I personally think it was the cold
