This may have already been discussed.  If not which do you think is better for the A5, Response Trigger or E-Grip.  Why?

I got R/T b/c its cheaper and I guess impler, Plus from what Ive heard some fields dont allowed electronics but idk if thats true. I just like the mechanics of the R/t more than the "simplicity" of the E-grip I guess.

depends what you play... speedball:e-grip woodsball:r/t tournement:e-grip...i think r/t's are illegal in tourneys

Response triggers are illegal at most fields and in all tournaments due to their capacity to sweet-spot or go full auto.

Go with the e-grip just as effective but legal most places.

get the e=grip.  it has different settings.  semi, r/t, 3 rd burst, auto, and turbo.  i have an e-grip on both of my a-5, and haven't had any problems with any fields.

u can play at fields with the rt if u allow them to adjust the rt to rid them their worries (i had 2 do it before) then when the days over u can sweetspot it again for fields that allow rt....rt is great because no elctronics to mess u up so rt>e-grip

If I were you I would get the E-grip becasue the e-grip has mutiplie modes and you can not use the r/t in tourneys.

One of my reasons for going to the e-grip is to conserve air.  If I go with the e-grip i should be able to play longer. Right?

Also how would I tweak my response trigger, so it will work better and more efficient.

The E-Grip will not use any less air that the R/T.

You "sweetspot" the R/T by turning the knob/screw on the side of the grip-frame in and out until you achieve Trigger Bounce which gives you a "full-auto" effect.

I thought the rt ran off of the air, and the e-grip ran off of a battery.

and with the R/T you can chose what you wont a 3 shot burst by holding it down or a 1 shot pr full auto by holding it half way. but i dont know if a electric can do that

Nitro tanks aren't measured in ounces. They're measure in CU (cubic units - being the size of the tank), and psi (being the internal pressure of the tank). And fills are about the same as CO2, maybe a little more. Usually around 5-10 bucks.

What are you talking about?!?!

The r/t has all and more settings than the egrip. It uses a full auto mode, which is actually giving you every mode there is.

The r/t uses the excess air after each shot to fire a piston behind the trigger making a bounce effect on your finger. It can be modded up to 22+ bps.

The egrip is capped at 15, which is what the cyclone feeds.

If you play woodsball, get the r/t for its price. If you play tourneys or speedball (r/t is usually illegal for its bounce capabilities) get the egrip.

Get the R/T So that you don't have to worry about water gettin into your trigger. Also you don't have to buy batterys every time you play!!! everytime you buy a battery it'll add up. And the rechargable batterys don't work that well after a while..

shut up..or i'll blast ur a$$....
