Or just plain romantic geniuses(SP?) I'm calling on you for your ideas, and to put your creativity to work. Why you ask? Well, it is my girlfriend and I's 2 year anniversary and well i dont really have any ideas as of right now. The day is Jan. 24th, tuesday. My budget is about $200.00+ but its not about money. So if you have any ideas, or atleast the most romantic thing you;ve dont for your girlfriend let me know.. thanks. ------------- USAF Special Weapons Technician. |

Obviously nice dinner, dressed up. This may be stupid but my gf loved it. i don't know where i got this idea... but it worked for my valentines day... start the day by giving her a couple of really small gifts... a small box of 4 chocolates and one flower... something besides a rose. mid-day, give her something bigger. maybe some jewelery or whatever and some more flowers. take her to dinner and give her the biggest present and a maybe some roses... work your way up. she'll love it and chances are... you'll get some lovin after all the thought and effort you put into the day. |

We're 18. We like the smae things excpet for music she likes rap and anything lovey dovey and pink. Im thinkin something with the balloons and little notes or gifts in the balloons and each little note is a clue or a piece to something... i dont know.
Classic/contemporary/retro, anything we're open minded, something different. Over the past 2 years ive used alot of my creativity on smaller events and just having the biggest brain fart ive had in a long time. But great ideas so far thanks. ------------- USAF Special Weapons Technician. |

If you can incorporate it, something near the water. My best advice is to cook for her, girls love that. If you can get your parents out of the house, set up the dining room table just for two with candles. Use a deep color like Maroon for the table cloth, it goes well with the candle lighting. Pasta is always good to go wtih, because even a moron can cook it (no this doesn't include ramen). if you know how to cook (i learned from an early age, my sister made me) then you can do more than pasta. by now you should know her favorite food group so cook something from that if you can. Keep it private, so forget going out. If you do decide to go out, go somewhere you can dance with her. if you cook at home though, leave her a gift where she should be sitting.

It would be better for you to celebrate your anniversary on a date that inst expected. How hard is to to remember a 2 year anniversary date. But figuring out your 646 day anniversary would be much more impressive. And I wouldnt spend a dime on it. The best gifts are free.
Money/gifts arent the objections of relationships. I would be more impressed if you found something different to compliment your lady on for every day of the year rather then spend 10k on a 2 year anniversary. Good Luck. And if I was to tell you want to do for her then it would be a gift from me to her and not from you. And you dont want me giving gifts to your lady because she wont be yours for long.

Last Valentine's Day I got my wife a bouquet of black and white roses. The florist didn't want to make black roses, apparently because of their connotation, and especially on Valentine's, but I explained that they were our wedding colors and I wanted one red rose in the middle.
The florist rose (PUN!) to the challenge and really came through. They were amazing and smelled incredible. The black roses were dyed, and stayed black even as they bloomed, and they retained their scent. The key is to remember something about her that could do with more attention from you. Whether it's something she likes that you haven't gotten for her, or something she'd like to do that you haven't done yet, make it personal. Personal is more important than expensive. -------------

my *ahem* "malefriend" had picked me up and
taken me over to his house. There he had recorded hours of Seinfeld (because he knows that, that is my most favorite show) with snacks so we had spent the night together watching TV. It was the sweetest thing. It doesn't seem like much, but chix just go crazy over simple, meaningful, thoughtful, creative ideas. So just do something that you know that she'll adore. -------------

Make a card off the compueter. Then bring her to MCdonalds and meet all of her friends at the play pen or in the giant ball's! Any ways seriously At the beggenig of the night give her a ring box with a picture inside, then got to a nice italian resturant and when your done appiters hold out ur hand when she touches ur hand slide the ring on her finger ( the real ring that was supposed to be in the box ) the say you love her!
