I use to dip hardcore, but I quit. I dipped Copenhagen Long, Skoal Mint, Skoal Straight, Kodiak Ice mainly. I use to dip a little Skoal Apple but that stuffs gross. Skoal Peach is good. Skoal Vanilla is nasty. Copenhagen Black is amazing but hard to find a fresh can of it. Red Seal is good because you get the bigger can. Huskey, Cougar, Kayak and the other cheap stuff is garbage. Timberwolf is very soft and a lot easier on your gums because it is made by Swedish Match, so it is more like snus. Man im a loser.. Edit: That is of course if you are talking about dip and not chew. For chew theres the good ol' Redman, Levi Garret, Beechnut, etc. ------------- I need a new Sig... |

Copenhagen Long Cut, damn. Now Im craving one. Good brands--> 1. Copenhagen Snuff and LC 2. Skoal everything 3.Grizzly long cut wintergreen 4. everything below 3 sucks. Lip wise, dip Copenhagen snuff. It's the finest cut you can get, the strongest stuff out on market (next to powder snuff) and it doesnt tear up your lip, I dipped this for half a year. For conveince dip Cope LC becuase its strong with a natural taste and is still extremly good on your lip. For price and with a still good flavor go with Grizzly wintergreen long cut. Its hard on your lip. Ive been dipping it for 4 Months and my lip feels like sand paper. Its in worse shape from 4 months opposed to my lip feeling absolutly normal from 1 year of Copenhagen. But grizzly is 1.00 a can and copenhagen is 4.19. And grizzly keeps for about 2 months, so i can spend 5bucks for ten cans in a roll and get about 3 weeks out of it. I used too dip for 2 years. Skoal mint was god like. Apple was vey good. Peach was great T-wolf was pretty good stuff too. |

What is a "H*ll"? And dipping/chewing is still one of the most disgusting habits man has ever invented. It even makes cigarettes look sanitary. The only people who partake in this disgustingness are 15-year-old boys who think it makes them look 16, sailors who couldn't get enough "private time", and homeless people. |

I used to think dipping was cool, when I was 13 and started, but now that im addicted, it sucks, It does taste good, and it smells good, and my gf doesnt mind it, but I just dont like the idea of being at mercy to a drug, and if I dont have one Im very aggresive, and prone to fighting about stupid crap. I used to do it my freshman year during baseball season. Then I quit, and did it again my junior baseball season. I havn't for over a year, aside from a friend offering, but I won't buy it. Most people have the wrong opinion of it, it's not dirty tasting. Granted, it's not sanitary, but neither is smoking. I guess it's different in the South as well. I wouldn't call it whitetrash though, espcially if your one of the main people that complains about stereotypes. ------------- |

Curby makes a good point. When you look at it, dip is never really ingested. The nicotine, ext. is absorbed through the lip and the juices are spit out. Smoking is not contained in the mouth. It goes through your mouth making your teeth yellow and breath bad, into you lungs making them black, and into the air making your house/workplace/general area of occupation stink and possibly stains the walls. Dip on the other had only makes you teeth yellow and causes bad breath. You spit the juices into a cup or on the ground and that is about it. Personally, I have tried both many times. I was hooked on the snuff (which was Grizzly Wintergreen longcut and Tiberwolf Peach longcut) for a while. It is easier to get hooked onto dip, but I have never known anyone who died of lip cancer. I've known plenty of people who have died from lung cancer, and this is knowing more dippers than smokers. Ohh, and Clark, you are terribly mistaken about people addicted to smokeless tobacco. It is probably just because you are incredibly ignorant, but people who dip or chew come from all ethnic backround, age groups, and regions. You and Tae Kwon Do steriotype others so often, and then criticize others for it. I have never cared for either one of you, and probably never will. I used to chew and dip when I was in high school and shortly therafter. I stopped when my dentist spend 30 minutes digging the crap out of my gums. It was gross. Ever see anybody who as had to have thier jaw reomoved because of this, I have not a pretty pic. It is a nasyty habbit as bad as cigs.
