well i have a custom pro and i got the newer version,(dull). the difference is that the dull one is more rough, it has more grip and i like it alot, it is a not shiny and it is a little bit harder to clean if u get mud on it, but other than that its really nice. the only reason i can say that is becauese i had to the shiny version as well, and i like the dull much better. i hope that helps u in ur choice. ------------- Setup: Super Blue Nexus Ego Ul barrel 45/45 pmi vlocity |

I guess, other than the color, there aren't any differrences. At least not that I know of. ------------- NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil. |

The newer version has a better cyclone ratchet. The old one broke all the time.
