if i were to buy this would i need to use a sir cource other then co2 and would i have to get rid of the expansion chamber on it or do they work in conjunction together

  You'd need to get a regulator, so you can drop the operating presssure of your gun down to around 450 or so (which is what the big adavantage of the LPK is). And if you wanted to use CO2, then you'd need to get a reg that can handle CO2. I highly suggest that you get the Male Palmers Stabalizer. One of the best regs to use with CO2, and should work great with your LPK.

Unless You have money money to blow I would spend it on something else.

The LPK really does nothing for the marker other than lessening recoil, and making the marker quieter. Its really all hype.
