A slide check valve will allow you to shut off air going into the gun and disconnect the remote while still under pressure.

32* degrees  makes a pretty good one.

I've had a PMI blow out on me, I never trust PMI's stuff.

get a coiled, but do not get the microline ones. get one that is beefy and one that the adatper can't come off unless you wrench them off.

I am not sure what brand this http://www.xtremez.com/paintball/product_information.asp?number=RTHPC&variation=&aitem=&mitem=&back=yes&dept=133 - " http://www.xtremez.com/paintball/product_information.asp?number=RTHPC&variation=&aitem=&mitem=&back=yes&dept=133 - High Pressure Coiled Remote" is, but if anyone is familiar with it could you tell me how good quality this one is, considering the normal price of like $80, and these savings...

* I believe that it is the http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/?year=&sort=low&prod=72&page=2 - " site) though it does look different.

ok thank you, now my trouble is that it costs like $45 to ship it to canada, and the ones that I can buy retail do cost $80-$100

*Or I could go with county paintball/sports' remote which is slightly more expensive but much cheaper shipping; https://www.countysports.com/shop/product.php?productid=3374&cat=265&page=1 - 32* rmt. w/ sld. chk.

Of the two which would you guys suggest?

most of you guys are seeing everything in US currency.
Remember, sme of us (like me) live in Canada, so a remote coil costing $65+ is not unusual.

paintball worm, what kind of remote was your previous one? i'm looking to get my tank off my gun for speedball (yes, odd ain't it?) but the 32* one i have is way too heavy.
anyone else that might know of a sort of line i could use for HPA? i would be runnin a maxflow sys by then. i was wondering about that though... a remote runnin at 200 psi for my LP m98 would probably restrict flow, no? i mean, i wouldnt be able to get as much consitancy if i ran the remote after the HPA is regulated, right? so perhaps i should run the high pressure HPA through the remote to my X-2. HOWEVER, what about the 3k psi operating rating? the burst i believe is 10k, so is there anything wrong with using my 4.5k tank?
