I currently own an A-5 with flatline and r/t. thinking about upgrading my air supply. i'm also running a remote line. i'm trying to decided between getting an N2 tank or a palmer inline stablizers. Which one would prove to be the better option? that is unless i'm being stupid and i need the palmer to use the N2 tank.... any suggestions? |

| I would definitely go for the palmers first. it can still be used for CO2. and so far for its price range... this has by far been the best reg for me. you can always get N2 later. plus, I wouldn't recommend N2 without a secondary reg like a palmers. you would kinda have to get one anyway. |

you get hpa as SR said co2 is and will all ways be crap.

Nitro. Not only is it usually cheaper to fill itm will give you better
consistency over the crono and depending on the size of the tank you
will definately get more shots per fill than with any Co2 tank. Awsome
for cold weather play

A nitrogen tank comes with a built in regulator. It is definitely the single best upgrade you can make on any marker. It will make it much more consistent (therefore much more accurate), get rid of all the problems of CO2 (broken O rings, velocity spikes, weather inconsistency, etc...) and it's cheaper to fill. They're expensive, but completely worthwhile. I suggest a 68 ci 4500 psi. That will give you 1000+ shots, and its not too big as to be uncomfortable. ------------- Just to alert everyone, "Gun maintenace and repair" is misspelled. |

can anyone give me rough numbers with about how much +/- consistency each would give me? So it would be no problem just going with compressed air and not having a regulator? i'm in Souther Cali. Its either warm or hot here. |

Your consistantcy varies from marker to marker, with the same tank. Generally, without a secondary reg you will get around +/- 10. As for tank brands I would suggest Nitro Duck, Crossfire, Centerflag, Gorilla Air, MacDev.... -------------

Having just gotten a palmer in hopes of consistency, I will definately be getting HPA right away. The palmer's is nice, but in cold temps the co2 can be under 600 PSI, even full. Varying temps causing huge pressure differences is a "Bad Thing" I want 800 PSI and a good HPA valve minimum to move the bolt and cyclone at a high rate of fire. From all the recommendations I've seen, I think a Crossfire HPA tank is what I need.
