ok so i have searched and searched to try and find why people say the flatline is so inaccurate but i couldnt find anything....so i decided to ask it..... do people say the flatline is so inaccurate at close ranges because the ball drops down at the beggining cuz the barrel is slanted downward slightly or are they just saying it is innaccurate becausethe ball travels farther making it harder to hit someone

    thanks

Mostly because it's just an inaccurate barrel. Why's the stock barrel bad? Becuase it's just not accurate, due to poor quality. Now the when used with the proper paint the Flatlines decently accurate, but not the best. Also because they aren't made to be the most accurate barrel out there. They're made for distance.

Now at distant ranges the Flatline becomes even less accurate. Mostly due to outside variables, such as wind, etc.

Well, I guess I am just going to have to disagree with Suzuki on this one. With Marbs or All Star paint I have found my Flatline, when clean and adjusted correctly, on my 98C, to be as accurate as most aftermarket barrels out to about 85-100 ft. Beyond that, unless shooting indoors, wind burbles have significant influence on the flight path and unexpected misses are common (and probably more noticeable due to the flat trajectory...arched trajectory shots just don't provide the visual references that surprise us when the ball misses)

Shooting my Flatline indoors I have been able to place 10 out of 10 shots in a 9" circle time after time at 150 ft(marker sandbagged in place so that my shaky aim was taken out of the equation).
