i have this question. what is better for woodsball a metal or a plastic power tube?

Not sure. I don't really think it matters. Speed or woods - you still want the best air efficiency you can get which is why they say the aluminums are better. I have read a lot of guys saying to stay away from the aftermarket stuff.

If your stock powertube is broken, I would get a aluminum one instead of replacing the stock one. For the sole reason of aluminuim>plastic.

do aluminum ones really make the gun louder, idk thats wut i heard but wasnt sure how that would happen?

It doesn't matter what type of paintball you play for some upgrades, that is one of them. The aluminum one is more durable overall either way. If the plastic one breaks, get the aluminum.

or you could do like i did and when i broke my plastic one i called tippmann and told them that i broke it and i have had it forever and they said " we would love to send you a replacement free of charge"

My powertube got cracked from excessive play when using Co2 with my E-grip. Tippmann sent me a new one, and they even paid for the shipping. Good service, and I got the new powertube within two days, just in time to play on the weekend.
