btw for all the people who hate bush, go flame elsewhere. i'm not fond of some of his decisions but i still respect the seat of the president. i'd hold this view even if kerry was speaking. and i truly hate that man.

I seriously think the Dems need to see the advantage they have. They can get bold, they have the support. Talking about by partisanship and allowing the WoT to be the main issue isn't the way they should be going. I like the fact that they said Bush is losing the WoT but they need to focus on the fact that he's driving this nation into the ground! Focus on his weak area! Support is weigning on the Iraq deal and some people understand how much he's screwing up the WoT but people know that he and his party suck at the domestic stuff. And for crap's sake, will someone please mention the fact that dissent doesn't equal partisanship!
We need more people like Ted Kennedy, did anyone see his speech after the vote for cloture yesterday? He was yelling and hitting the poduim! Thats what we need....I'd love to find a clip of that by the way....

And thats the problem with politics in America today. Its not about what is a good idea and what isn't, its about who proposes it. The best idea in the world will be shot down by a Republican Congress, if a democrat proposes it. Or vice-a-versa.

I have to agree, bush did much better with this speech. Not that I agree with it.
I tend to agree with his immigration policy. I agree with him on the need for education reform with an emphasis on the sciences but I really wish he had a plan to deal with it rather than the brilliant success that is the no child left behind. I do also see the hilarity in him saying we need to focus on fundamental sciences.
Although he still tried to justify wiretapping which again, I do not believe to be legal at all.
Still did that god damn smirk though....

But there is such a thing as taking it to the extreme. T-Shirts are not proper attire for sitting in the house gallery. We wont even get into the illegal war part.
The fact of the matter is, she is diswrought over her son's death and has serious mental issues. She needs a good doctor who can help her through this stressful time, what she doesn't need is encouragement to be crazy.
