Mine has custom fitted electronics inside the frame. Tons of hours of work went into converting it into an electro. It also has an aftermarket trigger frame, bodyrail, foregrip, and numerous other peices. I'm not saying I should win, actually I think sly should win. I'm just saying that mine is probably the most custom up there. Sly's is obviously the best looking though. That's true. His is custom in that he assembled it from scratch (I'm guessing?) and mine is custom in that I custom modded the frame to accept an electronic firing system. Too bad it didn't make it to the finals... Most people don't understand Cyborgs, or just plainly don't know about them. They either think they're huge like Imps (which they're about 304807353629 times smaller, and way 3748759875 times less (05's are slighly heavier than Ego's, while the 06's are an ounce heavier (so it comes down to what ASA and what size barrel you have on the gun))). so i don't get how this turned into a custom gun contest... honestly i look at these things and vote for the gun i would want to shoot... and granted the mags might be really "customized" the fact of the matter is they're all mags or cockers... neither of which i am very fond of. regardless... i just don't get how people would choose some of these mechs over some of the top of the line electros that have been entered. I vote for no one. |

its very easy to go out and buy a top of the line electro (not counting the financial issues) all you do you is either press order or go to your local shop, but to make a custom cocker you must understand how an autococker works, find the parts for it and then build it. -------------

Yea, it takes a lot more skill to put together a custom gun and put a lot of work, time, and heart into it to make it work. GOTM isn't about going out and buying a high end gun and taking a picture of it. GOTM has to be unique. who cares if its electro or not its about how the gun shoots and Quality of the marker not how much people spend on them if it was about how much money you spent on a gun well the little rich kids that don’t know any thing about there guns would always win I bet some of these mechs shoot a lot better them some china made “high end marker” and a lot of people still think the faster the gun can shoot the better it is im so sick of that my point is it dosen't mater how much your gun cost or how fast it shoot its about Quality of the marker and these mags and cocker have a lot more Quality then most high end electros out there

i'm not doubting the time and effort put into these guns, but you guys seem to lump people with high ends into "little spoiled rich kids"... what if they worked their asses off at their job so they could afford one of these guns. I'm also not saying rof should be a factor... but again... you guys see an electro and go... blah i'm not voting for that because it's "stock". when in reality it probably shoots better than most of the guns on the list. i mean... have you guys shot any kind of matrix, or a cyborg... they're amazing. this wasn't even meant to bash anyone... diedonimpact's cocker is awesome looking and probably shoots like a dream for a mech gun... i probably would have picked that one too... but some of the others... probably not. |

procarbinefreak you have a good point and i am occasionally guilty of grouping people with high-end guns to being spoiled rich kids. cus the way i see it at my local field there are two people that have high end electros...spoiled rich kids that couldnt get someone out if they were standing two feet in front of them and the people that kick ass so uncontrollably that they make everyone else look bad. i know both and on the internet its hard to tell what kind of a player someone is but that shouldnt be the factor since it is a gun contest. not a skill contest. so i think that they should make a new contest on these forums. for purely custom guns. i vote for deadonimpact. i like custom guns ------------- GO STEELERRSSSSSS |

That's not the point of GOTM though. The GOTM has to be unique. While I would definitely agree that matrices and borgs are great guns, there's nothing unique about them. UNLESS you custom modded them. Ie, custom anno pattern, custom milling, etc. GOTM is more about cool factor. I agree with niq. Almost every gun on there is not truely customized. The karni, system X cocker and scout's mag aren't custom. Sly's cocker might be, but Im have no idea. And warbreak's has a lot of internal work done. Other then that, I dont see you guys standing over a mill machine making the body, trigger frame and other parts from a block of aluminium. So your "these guns are truly custom" agruement doesn't work. |

That's true. There are different levels of custom. Ours are obviously a lot lower than something Doc Nickle could pull off, but last time I checked an airsmith didn't enter there stuff there. Nor did anyone else with a mill. That doesn't mean our stuff isn't custom or unique. That's what matters for GOTM, uniqueness. Anyone can go out and buy a stock DM5. bout 4-600 hundred went into gun/hpa and i dont know what he did with the rest and um he actually just skipped a grade to go to a really smart skool but i really dont see what that has to do with puttin together a cocker. he is really good with his hands hes built like computers from scratch an stuff, but all i know is hes a hella smarter than i am....o and cda if you think you can do it go for it i think that it would be amazing. ive just never seen someone with the time or the equipment to do it -------------
