Howdy.  Picked up a custom last saturday, with the E-Bolt, for a grand total of $50.  I decided before I bought it that this was gonna be one of my more expensive and much more successful project guns...considering my last adventure with trying to make a Blade into a 18bps shooting fiend backfired on me...(oh well, whats what..30 bucks?)

Anyways, heres what I have as of now, Gun Was picked up Silver, Beat up, and with no home mods done.  This is it now:

http://www.sendmeimages.com/show.php/3956_Tippmann2.JPG">

Includes:
-Ebolt
-Custom Milled: Tippmann 98 Custom lettering is off
-Custom Milled: Back sight is milled down quite a bit
-Custom Milled: Blade Trigger, made from GTA double trigger
-Custom Milled: QuickStrip Cut, Above trigger, slightly to the left
-Gas Thru Grip, w/ vert adapt (Came with gun)
-Ebolt LPR mounted on Custom Products rail
-Removed Safety, Replaced with extra bolt
-Polished Internals
-Blue PaintJob (Not final)

Still to come:
-New Paintjob (Black, Lime-Green Accents)
-Rufus Dog Vertical Feed
-Trigger Guard
-Custom Products Reg

And, most importaintly, a DM Virtue Board.  After that, I believe she'll be ready to go.

Let me know what ya think!

Awesome! Very nice, keep it going. Except for the Virtue board. Get the Tadao Musashi. Advantage is a crappy company with copycat products. They're more expensive too. Get a Tadao!

Ha, yeah, I was leaning on either something along the lines of that, or getting an older (2k2) Timmy board, since they are much smaller then the present day boards.

and...smaller = less dremel work!  and thats ALWAYS a good thing

In that case, get a minimorlock with predator code. Best code on the market and the board is about .75" wide and 2" tall. It's mad small.

You should mill the finger bumps off the foregrip. It will give it a smooth transition into the chrome piece.

Hey, great idea!  Do you have a link or something so that I can check it out?  Also, what solenoid does it use, because I have to pick up that noid for it to work.

Thanks much guys/gals.  I know the picture isn't that great, but i'm heading out this weekend to shoot it, so im sure i'll get new pictures, and maybe a video of it in action.  Also, yes, i'll keep you posted on updates.  I'm trying to get this done on the massive amount of freetime i've been having lately...so look for the completed version sometime by mid February.

Yeah you should do that because it will look very clean once you get that custom products regulator. You should do a two way air ram modification as well. It won't matter how fast the board is that you put in there unless your ram can mechanically move that fast as well  Looks like a very promising start! Can't wait to see it finished.

Ok, both of those ideas will be done then!  Hey, I've even got some time today, why don't I just go buy that cp reg and do some more milling!

Pics will be up, possibly tomorrow

www.exarin.com for the board
www.tagsportz.com for the code
Call them with any questions you have, the two companies work together. The noid on the stock ebolt board will work.

Ha, to answer that question:

I got the gun off of one of my teammates.  I was looking for a good deal on a A-5 for one of my buddies who was just getting into paintball, and along with the A-5 offer (only 40 bucks, I might add), He told me about this E-Bolted Custom he had.

Once he said that, I told him how badly i've always wanted one, and it wasn't long after that that he gave me his price of $50....I nearly died.

APPARENTLY, his step-brother ordered this custom with the ebolt and a bunch of other "goodies" with his parents credit card, WITHOUT them knowing...so, as punishment, they took the gun away from him.  A year or so down the road, my buddy was givin the gun as a gift. (Im not exactly sure how thats fair and all...but, whatever right?).

He left the marker sitting in the corner of his room, unused for probably something close to 2 years.  I think the only reason why he sold it to me for $50 is because he thought the board was capped.  Sure enough, it is firing alittle slow, but...thats only because the ROF was turned down.  I've got that covered now.

Anyways, sorry for the long post.  Warbeak, I cannnot thank you enough for the websites and idea.  You've probably sped up the completion date on this thing by probably a week or two.  Thanks!

That's because it is capped...at 13bps

My bad, let me correct that. He thought the board was capped "at 5 bps, which at the time it was, since the rof was turned down quite a bit".  My mistake.

Also, I checked into the Mini-Morlock board.  AWESOME!  I can't believe the size of that thing!  Im definately picking it up, and then the Red Lazer Eyes from Tag to go along with it.  It might take me awhile to get the eyes right, but...we'll see how it goes!  I'll keep you all posted

*update*

Money has become a issue, considering I only work 12 hour weeks, and I am going to college.  (I mean, common, a NES controller for your emulator on your Laptop is much more useful in class then a paintball gun)

But, advancements were made today, i've lined up a older 2k2 intimidator Frenzy board, WITH the lcd screen for the grand price of 40 bucks.  Once I pick up a solenoid and some wiring harnesses, along with some eyes perhaps, i'll be movin quite nicely.

Two-Way ram conversion MIGHT (might) be done sometime this week, depends on if I take the time to print out the instructions or not.  Also, planning on relocating the battery to the inside of the grip frame, and moving the on/off switch to the back of the grip, so that I can do away with that incrediable chunk of plastic that calls itself a battery case.

Anyways, in any case, things are advancing finally.  I'll try to get up new pictures as it comes along.
