| I have some trouble with my RT....As it says in the manual to adjust the rt you should first turn the screw all the way and few shots later it would get really hard to pull the trider...well for me that never happens i suppose the what should make it hard to pull is the piston should be all the way out and toutching the triger well its not even close to touching it...Either way its requires the same force for me to pull it as if the screw was all the way out...but im still able to shot quite fast but it concerns me that i could be shooting much faster if it was working correctry...What should i do to fix that? And if i should check for leaks...where? I would really appreciate your help guys/&/girls...thanx |

The trigger will be hard to pull no matter what because it's the trigger spring and sear spring that make it heavy not the piston. If you want it a little lighter, then just take out the trigger spring.

| Yes i understand that...but the problem is that it is really easy to pull the trigger...while in the manual it states that it should be very hard to pull it if the crew used to adjust the rate of fire is screwed all the way in. |

are you turning it clockwise? if its still easy to pull when you have adjusted it clockwise all the way than you may have installed something wrong. |

| I have tryed it both ways...clockwise and counter clocwise...And i bought it new already with rt allthou i took it apart once before i got to use it cuz i didnt have co2 and i wanted to see how hard is it to clean it...Once i got co2 i have this problem....im just wondering cound it have anything to do that im dry fireing it? Or with velocity? |

Finnaly...i fixed it...The problem was that tippman didnt add one O ring...On the middle hose fitting that connects to the gun...The never was o-ring so i just toke one of the spare fitting used to convert a gun back to non RT....So now the trigger gets hard very hard to pull awesome...But should i be concerned that i got a used gun? since i got it of http://www.paintballarmsdealer.com - www.paintballarmsdealer.com and yes it has one or two minor scratches...Should i contact tippman and ask if thats normal or ask for replacement?Posted By: littlecanada

| I am having a similar problem with my r/t on my 98. The trigger doesnt get hard for me to pull either. It responds only with the perfect amount of pressure on the trigger. Even if i have the perfect amount of pressure it only lasts about 7/8 shots. Whats going on? |

It sounds like yours is working properly, don't take this the wrong way but,you need to practice and train your finger to get longer strings. |

I have the same problem...I bought the RT new for a new A5 and when I installed it the flow control bolt ws leaking. Tippmann sent me a new one and when installed although the trigger does cycle somewhat - it still doesnt run full auto and certainly isnt hard to pull the trigger with the valve in full or out full. I have checked all Orings again and am wondering if I should just ask for a comlete new kit? The RT is a month old and therefore should have some warranty shouldnt it? Sure isnt like the Etrigger |
