| I have a tippy 98 custom. My problem is that I use compressed air on it and it doesn't seem to last very long. I go through about 2 hoppers and i am on empty. I can use the same tank on my friends tippy 98 custom and it last 3 times as long. I have no upgrades on my gun but a new barel. Can anyone help? |

how long does it take you to go through two hoppers?
I can't really answer ur question cuz I still play with CO2 with my 98c. Actually, I've never seen anyone have compressed air on a 98c. -------------

The first question is what size tank do yopu have. How many cubic inches and the pressure to which it was actually filled. Your friend's marker fires 6 hoppers on the same tanked filled to the same pressure? Both of your markers chrono'd to the same velocity? Both of your markers using the same diameter paint in the same barrel? You hear no leaks in your marker when you air it up? Do you have an R/T and he doesn't? You have a Cyclone hopper and he doesn't? |

| Yes they are both at the same pressure, velocity, same paint, and the same barrel (cp 14 inch). I here no leaks and all the orings and such have been replaced. Neither of us have an R/T or a cyclone hopper. They are the same guns just bought at different places and times. The setups are exactly the same. What else could it be? The tank that is being used is a crossfire 68ci 3000psi high pressure 850psi. Please help |

Check the o-rings on the tank and in the marker. Check the hose. You probably have a leak somewhere. ------------- NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil. |

| i have replaced all of the orings 2 times and gone from a braided hose to a macro line and still the same problem. any other suggestions |

Make sure the internals are smooth and clean first.
I bet your velosity adjuster has to be screwed in about all the way in to get it through chronoing. If so, the main spring is too strong releasing more volume than it needs to actually operate the marker.
