so i started with this:

the good old days...lol....but now alot has changed: before paintjob:

during painting of both of my guns...now my first 98c all together...  img]

specs: .14inch cp or lapco bigshot .toxic performance double trigger .palmers reg .Halo B with shock tech spring .RD centerfeeder .dye stickie .cp rail .dye asa or GTA LPR .GTA E-bolt or R/T .full boar cocking knob(not in pic) .68ci 4500psi crossfire tank with NXE cover .spring kit(not in pic) mods: .super R/T (not in pic) .No trigger spring .trigger stop .polished internals .black paintjob .custom milling .double ball detents .ported VA .quick strip .tank o-ring on front bolt ..i think that is all of it...anyways my other gun is still apart..i'm just lazy to put back together...the E-bolt on my first gun is just for fun...soon i'll get another 98c project to put it on....but i'm also thinking about gettin a old matrix...still need to choice from these twover nice matrix's: 1. 
Dust Black DM3 Dye LPR NYX board Tadao chip CP roller trigger CCM No-Pro feedneck EGGI eyes Bob Long Torpedo 2. Good shape. Needs bottom line. 200 OBO. Generation-e Matrix 14 inch all-american Red bolt. bob long reg. aka lpr. ccm low rise. gun 20 chip.

Excellent tippmann project there. I have never seen, though really like the cut reciever half for the quick-strip mod. Methinks that's gonna go on the 'frankenstein' monster that my brother and I are working on out of an old 98....(stay tuned for pics) Really Really nice job though. I like it. ------------- ? |

i found out my bro's tank had some air left in it....and my gun rips...i love that i can now walk my 98c...it is awesome...no recoil at all....i wish tippmann still made the E-bolt. ------------- Always Bite the Hand

Yeah, I must agree with the people above. Compared to most "custom" tippmanns you see, this one is very nice. i don't feel like makin another thread..so here:
as you can see i had a great saturday...and yes i got a new proflex and proto jersey....they are nice...anyways i had no chops..i turned down my ROF on my E-bolt to like 6 or 9BPS...the chrono they had there said 6Bps...but to me it was a lot faster...my 98c worked awesome...my trigger pull was so short...that i shot the inside of my barrel condom like 8 times that day because i forgot to turn my gun off....i felt so stupid...but on the field...i made up for it...the first guy i shot...i bonus balled, maybe alittle...he was hiding in some brush...and i was like 50 Ft from him...walkin toward him...then i saw his hopper and a burst of 25 rounds later...he was out...lol. almost everyone there with a 98c was like "what kind of gun is that?", "That is a 98c?" or "What is that for?"(meaning the E- bolt) and i answerd every question and helped a guy out with his autococker(it got jammed from one too many chops and him not cleaning it out, the whole bolt got stuck. so i helped him and told him what went wrong, he thought it had to do with somthing with his tank.) the only custom 98c i saw there was a purple stock 98c...i had lots of fun...i also bunked someone for the first time...lol...it was great. also here is a little vid i put together(hope it's good): http://media.putfile.com/my-98c - http://media.putfile.com/my -98c ------------- Always Bite the Hand

Awesome guns man! Your finished marker is freakin' sweet! You did a great job smoothing out the outside where you took the lettering off; it looks like it was molded that way. BTW, is there a particular brand/type of paint you used? It's AWESOME.
