OMG... so I was driving and then this moron swerves in front of me (I guess I was in his blind spot) and then completely demolishes my front end, sending me into the guardrail. good news is it wasn't my fault and he has insurance, so I'll be seeing a nice fat check soon. Any suggestions? I suprisingly feel fine... no pain, few bruises. pics:      Who was it that said they looked into their crystal ball or something? Have a dealer do the repair work. And don't let the insurance company tell you to have it done at one of their "recommended" shops. They usually use cheap parts and do cheap work since they work for the insurance company. A dealer will use OEM parts and put it back together right. You have the right to have the repair work done where ever you want. Don't let anybody tell you any different. ------------- I bring annihilation and cheap red wine! |

that really bites. When something like that happens, even if you do get it fixed, its not the same as it was. They may use the OEM parts but if your frame is damaged, oh boy. You can tell if a vehicle has its frame damaged when you drive behind it, and the front end sticks out on to the right or left and the rear is pretty even or vice versa. Hopefully its just front end damage and not the part of the frame.
