I just recieved my new 98c with all sorts of mods and an r/t

problem is that when i shoot 5-6 balls really fast it wont let me pull the trigger anymore and i have to pull the bolt back about 1cm for it to start shooting again.

Any suggestions?

(i dont have to pull the bolt back all the way again when it happens, just a little bit)

Paintballs are getting jammed in between the front bolt and the feedneck. If you paint has a lot of dents in it, that may be the problem. Getting an electirc hopper or a cyclone will help if problems persist...

No balls are breaking though, and i have an empire reloader on my gun

And my marbalizers are perfectly shaped, no dimples in any of them

It sounds like your having "shoot down" issues , shooting faster than the air/CO2 can be replenished. Does this happen if you shoot 10bps or slower?, what are the mods on your marker.

Which Empire Reloader is on your marekr? the B or teh II? I have found the II is to slow for the R/T. I would look into upgrading to a Egg2, or a Halo or reloader B.

no it doesnt happen when i shoot slow. but i can dry fire on auto with no problem

and i have an empire reloader I, its a lil more expensive than the II and got better reviews---> link( http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/1793/ - http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/1793/ )

the mods on my gun are

  • Dead On Bullet drop forward
  • expansion chamber
  • Double trigger kit
  • Dead On Rocket Cock II
  • r/t kit
  • Dead On rear velocity adjuster

Yeah, the Reloader might not keep up wiht the R/T I would suggest putting a faster loader on there and seeeing how it proforms.

Marbs have think shells, causing it not to break. To prove it, shoot until you jam like that. Take off the barrel and have a look for your self...

MC, your right i looked and it wasent chambered all the way, now i dont get why its happening since i have a hopper thats rated at 15 bps... and i thought r/t's only fired at 13 ???

Edit: i was thinking about gettin a q-loader for 80$ i hear they can feed 30 bps and they never missfeed, any advice?

Stock R/T's can get upwards of 17bps if properly tuned. The Qloader is a waste of money IMO, I would get a HaloB betore a Qloader.

Do qloaders not work or somethng? cuz i rly cant spend 140$ on a halo-b -.-

And i play woodsball if that makes any diffrence :/

The full Qloader is like $150 I believe it has 5 pods or 500 rds. The $80 ones only hold 200 rounds.

200 rounds is plenty i wouldnt want a huge qloader on my gun

and i dont have an a-5 its a 98c

I wouldn't go with the Qloader due to the bad reviews it has recieved. I have heard from several different sources that the pods take upwards of 5 minutes to reload. Also about the last 20 shots or so in your Qpod dont feed because there is no spring tension to push them into the marker. Also, You can forget about dropping a $2 pod on the floor and leaving it. Replacement Qpods are $20. So if you break or lose a pod(which happens often in heated scenerio games) your SOL. The system is a good idea, However it needs further R&D before I would pour money into it. I would suggest looking up the reivews in PB Review.

In woodsball, profile isnt as big a problem. For that reason you dont really want a q-loader. Halo B, ReLoader B or VLocity are the way to go.

P.S. correct me if im wrong, but dont egg2s only feed around 13 on a 98 because of the elbow?

The Egg2 does feed slightly slower due to the Elbow, however it doesn't feed 13, more like 15-16.

I would go with a Lapco or a Rufus Dog Centerfeed.

The Cyclone is around $60 at http://countysports.com/shop - County Paintball . It will be fast enough to keep up with the R/T however its disadvantage is that it cannot be used on any other marker than the 98c, therefore if you ever upgrade to another marker you cannot transfer the hopper.

Well i highly doubt i will get a diffrent kind of marker, so i guess i should order the cyclone? since the feeds require professional drilling

If you plan on using the Custom, I would get the cyclone. It does not require any drilling, just a new powertube.

The power tube with the air- port comes with the Cyclone

Yeah, sorry if I didn't make myself clear on that one.
