So after a long winter of painting, carving, custom fitting and
installing, my 98 is almost finished. This gun features a custom BMW
blue paintjob called 363 biarritzblau perl. It wasnt easy finding a
paint store to make this pearl metalic paint. In the pictures below I
show the steps of primering the gun and the final project. The wooden
stock is carved by hand out of a block of wood. I am going to stain it
a darker tone with a little red to match the KP3 wood color. I have a
ricochet 2k with switches for the laser and a flashlight fitting in and
on the front silencer. The scilencer on this gun is one of the very
fiew i have ever seen that actually works! it doesnt affect the acuracy
at all. The gun has polished internals, 16 inch pignose barrrel w/
scilencer and expansion chamber. As a bmw topic gun my final challange
is to interperate the BMW rondel logo somewhere on this gun. I hope you enjoy.    Srry about the fingerprints on the top of the pics, hmm looks like my gun needs a little car wax.  BTW the electrical tape is gone, there are some nice silver connectors and i am going to stain the stock a darker brown. I want to get a 98c to start and then get a better gun, but I see you can keep the 98c and upgrade it to be better than any other gun.

I think that the color of the gun is awesome, it also looks like
an incredibly uniform finish, I have seen allot of other guns that
people posted that they painted and the colors have looked good but the
paint finish looked really rough, your looks professionally done. As
for the stock it's a joke, if you are looking for a stock I would
definitly suggest the following BT folding stock for the M98/BT-4 it
has a a high back finish that would match the blue and looks like just
like the black finish on your barrel and expansion chamber. After that I think it would look awesome. |

i actually like it, its kinda.... well silencers are illegal ya know, and um that barrel is way too long, and xchambers are basically useless, but other than that.........

i don't know if i'm allowed to say this, but in this context it should be permitted: You gun looks like a transvestite. It doesn't know what it wants to be. You've go the mad sexy paintjob, plusses for that, and then you got that stock, which is...special in its own way...great that you know how to carve...and then you got the AK and the Drop that make it look speedy, and apex barrel which makes it look like a woodsball gun. It'd be a great gun if you like to smash people in the face with the butt of a rifle, and it looks like it'd be fun to see someone's face if they got shot with that gun, but the overall look doesn't gefällt mir. I want to make this clear to all of you. The stock looked killer when i
stained it a dark oak look like the interior wood of the bmw. I
personally think all guns need a bit of wood. I love the sheridan kp3
wood clolour. For the record, silencers are not illegal in canada on
paintball guns. The steel braded hose was replaced with a nice short
one. The paintjob was what made it beautiful. The paint job consisted
of 3 primer coats, 7 coats of the blue and 4 coats of clear coat. The
stock was hand
crafted by me and worked great. I am now working
on an A5 project gun. I will post pics at the end of the winter. PS: The A5 will be all metal. I am thinking of replacing my front spec ops grip with a wooden crafted handmade one for the "All guns need wood" look. PPS: The 98 is now sitting on the buyers fireplace mantel. Im saving the Egrip and WAS board for the A5, i already have them and
the A5 project is already 60% complete. The ROF part of the project is
at a nice 24 bps with full auto. Don't worry, it has a QEV for the
cyclone.

hey man, don't get rid of the stock. I personally think it looks pretty
neat. Even though it may not please some, it's yours and it's custom
too. I think its pretty neat how you made it yourself instead of just
buying one. I commend you're efforts on your paintjob too, it looks
great. Congrats on a really neat gun!

If you read the posts on this you would have seen that the man no
longer ownes the gun. He sold it, which means that you can suggest
until you are BMW blue in the face that he removes the stock, it won't
