Like wut the topic says. I have a Co2 tank problem...I have my own 20lb tank and a fillstation.. I've been filling my own tank for about 1 1/2 years now and this never happend b4. I filled my 20oz tank up and then i was shootin it and then all of a sudden water start's to fly out krazy.. Then the tank ran out of air but the tank is still heavy and you can feel like water inside of the tank.. so do i just toss the tank in the dumpster and buy a new one or is there a way for me to fix it?? ------------- shut up..or i'll blast ur a$$.... |

Is there pressure in the tank still? It also sounds like your large tank from which you are filling the smaller one came contaminated with water. I can think of no other way for that much water to get into the 20oz tank. If it were my 20 ounce tank I'd clamp the thing by the valve in a vise. Then with gloves and my goggles on I'd remove the burst disk fitting to relieve all pressure. Then remove the valve itself, dump the water, check for internal corrosion. If no corrosion I'd reinstall the valve, with LocTite (Permatex) Blue. If you have to take the tank to a Pro Shop the cost will exceed the new value of the tank. If you do not feel comfortable and/or safe doing these things to the tank, then throw it in the trash and buy another (Found 'em for as little as $18) Then take the large tank back to the vendor and request a replacement because of the water inside. If you find no water in the larger tank, let us know from where it might have come. CO2 cylinders used in beverage application, if the set up is incorrect can siphon water into an empty CO2 cylinder. If the CO2 vendor isn't paying attention he may fill CO2 on top of a quantity of water. I have seen it happen at a local beverage CO2 facility. |

you can find a new 20 oz at aerforce.net for $14.45. They also have 14 oz for $12.26, 12 oz for $11.80, and 9 oz for $9.65 All tanks are new direct from the manufacturer |

Yes, after you are POSITIVE there is not pressure inside the tank (easily press and release pin valve), remove the burst disk (to be certain once again) and then the valve. Dump some out, taste it (to see if it is water  ). If it IS water, drink it and then reassemble. If it is NOT water...I dunno what to tell you.-------------

are you sure it was water and not liquid co2? there really is no way for water to get into a bulk tank and if it did it would freeze during transfers making it impossible to transfer from one tank to another. my guess is your burst disc ruptured, did the liquid shoot out the side of the tank neck? ------------- http://img76.imageshack.us/my.php?image=stickemup6of.jpg">
