I'm pretty sure about getting my A-5, but what makes me doubt is that they are a litle heavy, besides I was wonderind if the cyclone feed wouldnt be a very obvious thing sticking out when you look around a right corner.
Also it's shape looks somewhat big. If you have an A-5 please tell me if it's a good choice.

It actually has a lower profile than normal hoppers. I love mine.
Get the A-5, you wont be disappointed.

a-5's arent heavy at all. the cyclone actually is smaller than guns like spyders(with vert feed).

^Smaller in height, but now in width. And the width is what is what you
should be concerend about for your snap shooting. I would take a
vertical feed over any cyclone fed marker. IMO

Just becuase you're having some problems you're selling your gun? Not smart IMO. And the A-5 is a great gun, alll around.

The A-5 is beautiful. It's MUCH better than you would imagine once you get it in your hands. I even recieved many compliments from workers at the fields and I was even given some free paint because they loved it and gave it a try :)
The hopper is not a problem at all, trust me.

I did a bench test between a Revvy and a Cyclone as far as weight goes....
the Cyclone is noticeably lighter compared to the Revvy w/batteries. You
have to keep in mind you'll never have to use batteries and it is a force fed
design. If something goes wrong with your Cyclone it's REALLY easy to fix.
It's an extremely simple design. I say go with the A5. Keep in mind you can
also up the Cyclone with a QEV if you ever end up getting an after market E
frame board for your A5. I believe it feeds around 12-15 bps stock. With
the QEV and slightly larger hoses you can can achieve a FEED RATE of ~20
bps.

While i <3 my CPro, i must say the A5 is truly amazing.
its VERY light. also, a feature i really like is the entirely system.
unlike the 98 series (M98, 98c, and CPro) there is no open cocking
slot. it is also internal action, the same way rocket cocks work, so
that there is no moving bolt on the outside to get snagged/hit your
thumb.

Yes and no. No RT on the one he is describing, but it is the same thing you have to do to get the cyclone to feed as fast as the gun will shoot with the Super RT... Most people consider the qev mod to be part of the super RT which it pretty much is. I mean the super RT is usless with out the qev mod.
Anyway, only real issue with the cyclone is the ratchets will wear out. But that is only normal after alot of rounds or if you have it firing really fast alot. They cost like $1.50 and dont take but a few minutes to change out.

if your electronic hoppers stops working and the balls don;t feed thats bad. but if your cyclone stops working you can still shoot but u need to cock the cyclone so shoot push the button and then shoot and then push the button and then shoot. its better. wow i have no clue wear i came up with this

Some electro hoppers such as the Halo B require certain additional features (RIP) to feed the paintballs without batteries. When I used the Halo B I only used this to clear jams. Some hoppers such as the Revi and less expensive electric hoppers that just spin when it doesn't sense a ball will feed balls without batteries (not very effective but will get the job done)

Think of the cyclone as a 2 liter bottle taped on the side of your gun.

kind of wanting an A-5 or an ION, cant't make up my mind :
A-5: just get a CO2 tank and you are reday to go. no need to search for expensive hoppers, HPA tanks, etc.
maybe a little heavy and big comparated with an ION.
ION: light, fast (with fast hopper), HPA. but at the end more expensive and tall.

Actually, the cyclones are lighter than a lot of the electric goppers beacuse there are no batteries

The cyclone is lighter and smaller than ANY battery powered loader. I disagree about the snapshooting disadvantange. It does stick out to one side, but not that much. Eggs and Halos stick up over 6 inches above a marker, and they make just as easy a target as a cyclone.
As for the ratchets wearing out, my A5 has 60 or 70k balls through it, and I've never had to replace the ratchet. I have gone through two sears, one hammer, and a power tube, but Tippmann replaced those parts free of charge.
