Been a while since I have been here, happy to see my login still worked, and on the first try.

The only thing you would have to worry about is the marker heating up to the flash point of the propane is 900 degrees, can we say hot. The reason i say you only have to worry about it to the flashpoint is the fact thats what heat shrouds are for. So a semi auto is plausable even likely. I don't stop firing my M16 or M2 because it gets hot, thats what protection measures are for. I am currently workiong on plans for a semi, even full auto. i will keep you posted on what I come up with.

What? and good to know?

*edit*
also, I dont think they're too worried about getting a marker up to 900 degrees for the flashpoint of propane... I'm sure people are more concerned with burning the crap out of themselves.

Thats why they invented heat shrouds, so people dont destroy their precious little body parts.

hmm... youd have to separate the chamber and barrel a good deal from the chamber and insulate them both VERY well.

The problem is the heat with the ball. Even with the isnulation it will take alot to keep the heat below the melting point of the paint shell. Hell it doesnt even have to be the melting point just hot enough to weakin the paintball. so this is the trick. Maybe a chamber system where the air has to pass through 2 or 3 chambers before it contacts the ball
Im working on it. I need to take a harder look at the c-3 at the moment

I'm thinking use a lot of carbon fiber and maybe find a way to suck air through the marker when venting exhaust in the chamber. Or go milsim with a water-cooled MG replica.

why replica? why not build a machine gun?

THAT would stop wipers...

Yes, C3's have been known to get hot enough to give 1st degree burns to it's handlers.

Wow tae kwon do... you REALLY need to start backing up your arguments. they wont first degree burn you, or tippmann would at least 1 class action lawsuit on their hands. You dont sign a disclaimer when you buy the gun, which means any injury resulting from its safe and normal use is THEIR FAULT.

carbon filter ehh?? hmm
I was thinking of an exhaust system that blows out the hot air and sucks in fresh cool air for the next shot.
and maybe a built in icecube tray, so you freeze the marker the day before you play. Pretty nifty eh?

Do you sign a disclaimer when you buy a grill? A curling iron? A toaster?

Nope. And they can still burn you.

^This guy's been here for years, and he's still a standard member.....don't mind him. The C3 will not burn you unless you deserve it.
