I think Tippmann needs to make one gun Electric Gun that is Durable and still has the "TIPPMANN" qualities. I also know that they have the E-Grip and that sort of things. I wouldent want them to be alot like Bob Long or anything of that sort because I love that they make Durable, easy-to-fix guns that people like and That I like as well. Anyway my point is that I think they should just make one modle of a electric gun that would be Fast and could compeat with some of the Expensive guns like Angel or Bob Long.

umm... no?
tippmann always finds the mechanical solution, hence the Factory F/A, cyclone feed (best example), and RT.

Why would tippmann wanna be like those other companies?? I applaud tippmann for not flooding the market with parts. They design guns that are basic in function and very easy to fix and upgrade. What would be the point of beeing like a bob long or smart parts if they are just gonna do is copy them??? I haven't found another company that designs paintball guns that are as reliable and customizable as tippmann. in my opinion they are a near perfect company

I dont think that they should make a stock electric marker because it would ad to the confusion of field stripping it...and electric markers useually arn't as reliable as mechanical markers are, and we all know that tippmann is known for its reliability.

My 98 E-Bolt can go full auto.
Does that count?
What Tippmann needs to do is make a Tippmann-tough TRUE electropneumatic marker that is affordable to compete with the Ion.

Only problem is, with patents owned by Smart Parts being what they are, Tippmann would most likely have to pay a licensing fee to Smart Parts.
If they didn't, they would get tagged like ICD, or be forced to stop making it like the E-Mag, Viking and Excalibur.

the "Pro Am" is essentially the same marker as the Pro lite, but made
completely out of aluminum, rather than having a plastic front grip and
feed neck...I like both! And to stay to the topic, HECK NO should
Tippmann make a full auto electric gun-mechanical does dominate!!!

RIGHT ON BROTHER!!! If you want a good, moderately
priced elctro, then get a spyder. Tippmann is doing just fine and I
couldn't be happier with their product line up!!!

Tippmann is there own style, and that is why i use there guns, I'm glad they make there guns the way they make them, affordable, easy to clean, take apart, put together, upgrade etc.

It would be cool if Tippmann did, but not mny would buy them. Tippmann has gotten a rep of being the low cost beginner gun place. You should have seen the people at PBN when they found out about the hoppers. They kept saying how it wouldn't ever compare to an Egg and it costs the same. Tippmann should just stay at what they do best at and are successful at. They make good low end beginner guns to imtermediate guns. Lets just leave it at that.

I think that tippmann's primary focus should stay on high-performance,
reliable, mechanical guns but they probably should make something to
compete with the ion just to prove that they are capable of it. Too
many people say, "Tippmann makes mech guns because they can't make
electros" and that's just stupid. They make mech guns because they're
good at it and it gives the newer players and people like myself who
don't have much money to spend on a gun the opportunity to buy a
quality product to play the game with. All of my guns are from tippmann
and I love playing with all of them, even more than any of the other
guns I've borrowed from friends. I've never been heavily into tournies
so ROF doesn't mean much to me and tippmann guns fit my style of play
perfectly. I never worry about my gun crapping out on me during a game
because I've used tippmann products for years and I know I can rely on
them. Most electros I've come across are not nearly at this level of
quality and if tippmann could carry their rep over to the electro
market then they could spank companies like smart parts and shut up all
the ignorant morons that keep talking crap about them. My vote is that
they should produce one, simply to showcase what they're capable of.
