Alright just got into paintball with a 98 custom with flatline... i will have a pic up here after a shopping spree... i need recomadations for upgrades... i know alot of people dont liek the flatline, but for my recreational purposes its perfect...

i was thinking this:

tippmann 98 custom

flatline barrel

ricochet rhino hopper

responce trigger

rocket cock

read velocity adjuster

expansion kit

....mind you i jsut got into this game, im on a low budget (yes yes i got a expensive barrle that is only average), and its for fun, i only wanna own the rec players at local fields not the world, any imput would be great, Thanks.

I would go with a EggII, or the cyclone over a Rhino.

Other than that, it sounds good.

You shouldn't have problems chooping balls with the flatline if you hav e the right paint to bore match.

I would go with a Lapco Bishot as your next barrel. It is one of the most veristile single piece barrels on the market IMO. The only 2 barrels that add range to your shot are the Flatline and the Apex, but with these you sacrifice accuracy for range. All straight barrels shoot about 75ft accurately. The Tippmann Stock internals are the best, stick with them.
