I am a fairly new marker owner, used to just be the guy that borrows the stuff. but anyway i am also a pretty good neat freak and i was wondering what kind of cleaners (solvents) would be good to clean my marker up after a good day of woodsball.  I have a Tippmann A-5 with Flatline Barrel, t-6 stock, tippmann double trigger. Just looking for something to get that oily paint off and keep my O-rings from getting messed up.

Soap and Water, non-abrasive soap like hand soap, not the stuff with the little rocks in it. that and a rag. Honestly you only really neeed the soap if you got it really dirty. After its clean, give it  alight coat of oil and you are set.

Thanks Snake6, sounds good to me. I was just checking.  you know, make sure there was no "Omega Solution" out there.

I use a spray bottle with one large squirt (about a tea spoon) of liquid dish soap, this works well at the field as well as at home.

Yup!   Dawn works best for me, gets rid of the oils better than the cheapo dish soap I usually get because I'm stingey.

Warm/hot water with a little dish-soap... and it should come out squeaky clean, and residue-free compared to using other detergent types.

All the stuff in paintballs is water soluble.
