Wouldn't it be nice if Tippmann offered an A-5 without the cyclone feed system for less?  Just a standard side load would add lots of customization.  You could add a Q-Loader (Best hopper on the market IMO).

I may be wrong but isn't that what Ben Tippmann is offering. His design, to me, sure looks like an A-5 with a regular feeder neck.

Is it a vertical feed neck or side load?

If you go to their website at btpaintball.com, you can see that both BT4 and BT16 are vertical feed systems.

BTW pepprdog, like your sig, and especially its meaning.  I guess the program you attached to it, is also neat, and how it shows you your IP address, and its constant changing of characters.  My 22month old daughter loves the rainbow colored elephant-looking character, she laughs at it when it shows up.

FYI, they are just like the stock A-5.  Only way for the BT markers to shoot with burst modes and full auto is to have a compatible E-grip system.

Can you just remove the cylcone system from and A-5 and it would be like a standard side-loaded gun, or won't that work?

it can be done with some modifications.  You can conduct a search in the Marker Gallery, and maybe get a glance on one that has been modified.
