i am pretty dang bored and have somehow managed to run out of crap to watch, so i was wondering what movies you good people liked. Personally, i liked lord of the rings, but ive seen it way too many times. suggestions please?

also, im curious about the movie A Clockwork Orange.

A Clockwork Orange is a pretty awesome movie (I know some people who were rather disturbed by it), along with all the other Kubrick films (2001: A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket, Dr. Strangelove, The Shining etc.)

trainspotting has reminded me of a skit on monty python, which in turns reminds me i have about 8 more hours of monty python that needs to be watched. YOU WIN!!!

Favorite movie? Of all time?

Without a doubt, Shawshank Redemption.

Attack on Precinct 13 is pretty good.

Also, whatch Hitchhikers Guide, its funny.

Pulp Fiction is my favorite "serious" movie.  As for comedy, Harold and Kumar go to White Castle wins hands down.

I like pulp fiction, its main theme is redemption and penence, but its got a style i like. Good film.
