If I were to get:
98custom
R/T with the super R/T setup MOD- I was told up to 25 bps
Evolution II hopper W/ Z board- 23bps
Direct feed to reduce blowback
CP barrel
Dead on paintball Double Trigger
HPA tank
Would this be a good idea? I play both woods & Speedball so
Im looking for a balanced gun that can work for both
gametypes.
I dont feel like buying another gun.

Um, this is from me just asking stuff:
-A super RT would be able to make 25 bps from what I hear. But RTs are illegal at alot of tournaments if you're thinking of competing. -Egg w/ Z board supposedly says 23, but you have to remember that they aren't testing shooting from a gun, they are seeing how fast they can clear the hopper. Figuring in blowback gasses and such, it could prolly feed 20 on a center feeding system, not an elbow system. The direct feed supposedly says it helps w/ feedrate and such, but I have not had experience with it. But, it wouldn't be good for speedball because it sticks the hopper out to the far right. The better thing to do would be to go with a Rufus Dawg centerfeed, the egg should be able to feed 20-22 fine with that, IMO. -A CP Barrel should be fine, as long as its short for speedball, but to get an insane speedball barrel you'd should look into a barrel kit. They are extremely expensive, but worth it IMO. If you don't have that much cash, I'd look into something like a snapshot or all american or freak. Those would be fine for $80. You really should get something shorter than your current barrel, 16" would not perform well in speedball, from a competitive viewpoint. -The 2x trigger would be fine. -A good HPA tank would be perfect. Look into Crossfires, and just find the one that'll allow you to effectively play the position in speedball that you're looking at and it's size should also reflect the availability of refills.

Looks good, but i would toss the direct feed and the hopper for the halo b. It feeds faster and the direct feeds don't help much at all.
If your going to be competing, then get the custom pro e. The r/t is illegal in most tourneys.

No, you don't. It's all personal preference. Some people (most) like to use their R/T's with single triggers instead of doubles. They feel that it's easier to sweetspot the R/T using a single trigger.

Yea I wouild rather have a single on it than a double. Since you already have a double trigger try it with that and the stock to see which one you like better.

With double you can get it a bit faster, but its easier to overpull and stop the rope.

having to have a double trigger to make the R/T work good is just a lie
the pro-shops will tell ya to make more money. They tried it on me, but
I stayed stong. plus, they look cheezy on tippmanns...but thats just my
opinion...

The double trig makes really not a huge difference like i said. if you
already have one though dont bother wasting your time tracking down a
single.
