Ok yesterday i took off the vert. adapter because i wanted to learn the internals of the valve. It took some muscles to get the vert feed off. But as i took it off i forgot the count the number of turns it took to take the vert. Adapter off. Now the problem is i dont know if i should tighten the vert adapter onto the valve 3 or 4 turns cuz i dont want the threads of the vert adapter hitting the spring in the valve. but if i only tighten the vert adapter 3 turns it feels very loose and seems like it needs four. But still i just dont want to screw anything up.

Any help would be appriciated thanks

You should use use teflon tape or thread lock on the threads.  The manual says you should see two threads left between the va and the powertube but I think it's just a guideline and you should just go by fit.  Put the teflon or thread lock on, turn 3 times, and try to fit it to the gun.  If that does not work, turn it again.  Be sure to let the thread lock dry overnight before you gas up your gun.

First, the hose fitting cannot hit the spring no matter how far you tighten it because the end plug extends past the edge of the hole. If you have the power to turn the 1/8" npt fitting that far into the valve it will bottom against the brass plug and in no way interfere with the spring function.

Second, if you still worry that you are going to screw it in too far then use the blue Loc TIte (or Permatex) GEL. Read the info in my post of taking the valve apart in: Marker Trouble? Read Maintenance Archive   Its the last post in the thread.
