they are the same.  The name "Stabilizer" is a Palmers regulator.

oh, I see you have changed the subject from "Stabilizer and regulators ?" to the now stated.  Not really have much info. on expansion chambers vs. regulators.  But in this scenario, the expansion chamber prevents the liquified form of CO2 from entering the internals of a marker and damaging components within, sometimes rendering the marker temporarily useless due to a build up of frost/ice, while a high quality regulator like Palmers Stabilizer equally does the same while regulating the air pressure within the marker in which an expansion chamber doesn't.  If my answer is inadequate, please correct me.

I would write up expand on your answer with examples but I am over my head in work right now.

I didn't see any errors, but I just skimmed it. Ill look around to the post I wrote up about it a while ago.
