yeah I get the scorch from wal-mart too. you don't need all that pro crap. any other paint works just as well. just don't get the wild streaks because those burst way too easily, stick with scorch, their red on the outside and pink on the inside!! Make sure you look at the paintballs befor you buy them, becuase sometimes one of them has busted and it gets paint all over the balls. ------------- If your not livin' on the edge then your taken' up too much space!! |

I was definetely going to say that there are way better paints out there than midevil. . . Try: Marbs Anarchy Scorch(good practice paint) Really when it comes to paint you want to make sure it has a good seam, a good shell, and good paint to barrel match. Thats all you need to know. |

I believe it depends on the conditions your palying in. We played in like 20 degrees weather and the marbs keeped breaking. Polar ice worked fine.See what everyone is shooting @ your local field and go from there. WAL-MART sucks ass... and for the good cheap paint to use, the team and i suggest dusk, its good enough to work in a flatline with out breaking so it must be pretty good, and only $17.99 for 1000 and about $35 for 2000. ------------- 98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. My friends and I have been playing paintball for a short time now. We all have the same gun. We have somewhat scientifically been searching for the cheapest "good" paint. Thus far we have shot cheap walmart paint, Academy paint, PMI field paint, Midnight, EVIL, and PMI Premium. We have basically come to the same conclusion. As long as it it is round and relatively fresh the difference is negligible for woods/hyper ball. We are fortunate that PMI has a factory near where we live so the fields/stores around here get it fresh weekly. We can get special PMI field paint for $35 a case of 2000 at our field. We can get PMI premium for $45. I would say the main reason why we go ahead and use the PMI is because it always fresh. You never know how old paint is from stores like Walmart, Academy, and Sports Authority. But, if someone like SuzukiRider says some walmart paint is good then it probably is.. |

my friend gets "heavy metal" from wal-mart(i think it is made by viewloader) and we have yet to break a ball:)(it is only 10 bucks for a bag of 500)
but wild streak are horrible, never ever get wild streak my friend bought a bag and about 10 out of the 500 were ruined(before even opening the bag) and about 1 out of 10 broke in the barrel(we shot about 50 then decided it was BS |

nice Justice   .i love Draxxus. I use midnight and i shoots fine. Also, the white box sold at the shop i go to is pretty good, and at $25 Canadian per 2000 its damn cheap. Its hard to say anything sucks at that price. Its also WAY better then equivenantly priced BE and VL crap. Im pretty sure its just random stuff they get. It does have its mystery batches though. Once we got lucky and got a case of Evil . I like white and in nelson paintballs there yellow fill. It's more like a bright lime green then yellow. Also Pink fill .

ah tight! never seen that before....I like to also mess up people's camo when playing w/b yellow would be cool but only if it was really yellow not like what he said "lime green." I've seen that and I'm not that impressed -------------

I always tend to use RPS Premiums, Xball Bronze/Origin. They give me the best results and are around 40-45 bucks a case. -------------
