| well he was asian so he only weighed 10lbs (J/K). you'll notice the diffrence on how the bottles where worn on mythbusters compaired to the way they did it, im not sure how much that could effect it but just an observation. |

I have frequent problems with Mythbuster's methods. It can be an entertaining show to watch, but sometimes they're setting themselves up for failure. However, the redhead, Kari Byron, was a nice addition to the show. -------------

They have said before in interviews (The one that stands out most was one they did on a chat on Discovery.com) that they are not scientists, nor do they pretend to be. They are special effects gurus, so they do the best they can with what they have, then go to other people for help (Reporductive scientists, Marine biologists, Ballistics experts, atleast one expert in some field can be seen on just about every episode). Anyway, I think the MythBusters are right on this one. That video looks fake. -------------

You don't get it. Ebaums world is a terrible website. They steal videos from other people and put them on their site to make money. They even slap their own crappy logo on everything they steal. It's pathetic. -------------

I agree that Mythbusters isn't an all-encompassing exercise in testing these myths, but there are some things that I would do differently, like any other show out there. I still like to watch it.
I especially liked when they fired the .50 gun into the swimming pool. -------------

I too am a huge fan of Mythbusters. Sometimes they do things that makes me scratch my head in wonder, but you're right, they're NOT scientists and they dont, and never have claimed to know everything. They goof up quite a bit too, (chicken gun) but that just makes it more fun to watch. ------------- ? |

Thats why they try to include atleast one [If not two] "Revisit" shows per season, to go back and retest the ones they 1) Screw up really big on [ala Chicken Cannon] and 2) Get tons of e-mail on telling them they screwed up on [ala Ice Bullet] -------------
