I'd take the PM5. I'm not a big Shocker fan, even though they're good guns.

Personal preference. I'd rather have a Shocker over a Proto any day

like said above they are about equal stock in performance, so it comes down to what your using it for and which you like better.

I'd also go with a Shocker. I've been seeing so many PM/DMs lately.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

ok so besides personal prefference, what would be the better choice, im an idiot i put it on multipul votes oops. and who cares if youve seen a lot of pm5/dms around, wut would be the more reliable gun, and not just stock, but with available ups like the ultralight frame for the pm5. wut fire modes does the shocker board(nerve) come with

The nerve board has regular semi-auto which is capped at 20bps, and ramping which is capped at 17bps.

i personally like the shocker

i have not shot the pm5 so i cant really say anything about it

but i do love the shocker trigger/frame

i dont know why, but i think it is built magnificantly.  This is SP. finest gun.  It comes with a great barrel and reg.

2 of my friends have them, the only thing ive EVER heard one of them say about it thats kinda bad is the efficiency.  But, the reg wasnt broken in yet either.  But a HE bolt will fix that.
