Thanks fellas, i never get sick of hearing it. As for some questions, the Lettering was done freehand with a dremel on JB weld that was molded and sanded in place. (any one wants anything like this done let me know) And the nob on the side of the A5 is a quick release thumb screw for the cyclone. since it will max out at 20 BPS, i figure at some point i'm going to need to get in there in a hurry. As far as updates go, i got my APE board and noid in and im going to get everything tuned up tommaro, i'll post vids in action soon. Heres more recent pics...       |

Where did you pick up the "Metal" rail? Every place that has the rails
that long are all plastic that i can find. Im also doing the "flat top"
on my A5 and you insipred me to also do it on my zeus. Thanx. PS. the little things like customizing the rail for the cyclone are the little things that i love. Again guys, thanks... I'll try to answer most the questions, lets see.. Where to get the rail: I picked these up real cheap on ebay, but you can get them at any gun shop as well, the top is less than 20.00 and the bottom less than 10.00 brand new. There made by NC Star, just look for 11" handguard rails, the bottom is a 6" rail Someone wanted specs: Well aside from the obvious, its a basic A-5 with a little work, Polished internals, FVA mod (waiting on my gold tube), modified cyclone spring, QEV, APE rampage board and selenoid, JCS RVA, "mouse click" trigger job. The barrel is a 18" opsgear interceptor, with the bushmaster m203 handguard over the scepter. Houge grip, G&P red dot, 32*buffer tube with a tapco stock, with a Command arms cheek rest, and a TDI forward grip. Vids: I was all ready to shoot some vids today and get it all tuned up, so i went to my local shop to get some air.... SNAP! burst disk blows.... SNAP!... and another... PSSSSS!... Now the fill nipple is leaking. The guy looked at my like i was trying to kill him. So needless to say its on the next truck to crossfire in the AM. Untill it gets back... no fun for me! Price: This one came together real cheap, got alot of great deals on everything, but to duplicate it with all of the shelf parts (if you can find a scepter) your looking at about $1300 in parts. This doesnt include the other 300+ i need to finish it. |

CQB, all i've been using is a drill press grinder and files. I'm getting a bandsaw this week to speed things up. Tigman, yeay i like the blade style but i have a real good improvment for it, no one has done yet. I'm probably going to file a patent for it so i dont get screwed. I already have the prototype mocked up but i really dont want to release it yet. Its that cool IMHO. raven yep that for my scepter launcher... |

im planning on getting myself a craftsman drill press, for like $120. i have a grinder, some files. i dont mind using a hack saw. Ive got an idea for a spyder 2000 pistol i could easily make with your skill. I'm in the process of making my own grips for her, they'l be made from rubber and attached to the seperate halves so you can still open your grip. most of the hard stuff is done, should be able to pour a couple of sets in the next few days... The concept sculpted from plastiline..
The initial rubber mold
Heres the halves made from plastic, after sanding and texturing, i'll make the final molds out of these, then pour the polyurathane rubber.
After a little sanding you can get an idea of how they will look, although there will be texture added to certain areas.There crappy pics, but i'll get better ones tommorow when i finish the halves pror to molding.
