i personally like spyders, but here are the cold hard facts: spyders suck, unless you put a crap load of cash into them, which is what im doing. anyway, here are the facts i know for each gun. enjoy. Spyder Electra ACS: Ion: (no personal experience) conclusion: if your willing to spend the dough, get the ion. if your just rec-ballin or an on-off player, get the spyder. stock ion for 300$ is probably as good as a 200$ spyder with a hundred dollars worth of ups. your choice. ------------- Evil Elvis: "Detrevni is definally like a hillbilly hippy from hell"

both are pretty good. Try both of them out before you pick. That way you can pick the one you like the best. Never run an ion on CO2. The ion has its problems too. Not all spyders are unreliable. Most of the newer ones are ok, I haven't had any problems out of the ones I've shot. ------------- NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil. |

spyder just tries to make a gunt hat shoots 80 balls a second, so the noobs are like....SWEET i'm gunna be pwning that field!!!ION is def better even though like 4 peoople that regularly goto my field have them

I have owned a Spyder in the past, and it wasn't a bad gun. Here is the deal-breaker, however. Spyder = sear tripper electro Ion = TRUE ELECTROPNEUMATIC; same technology as a Shocker. I am not a fan of sear trippers, as they fail far too easily. This is why I no longer own an A-5. ------------- If I flee, kill me If I die, avenge me |
