v-force profiler easy to maintain and change mask, great 360 degree visibility, why get anything else?

Look into the Dye masks.  I have one and couldn't be happier.

profiler or e-vents... or invision

i have both a profiler and an invision.  i wear the invision more because i need a new lens for the profiler... i got it for $20 and my invision is in better shape.

Invision. It's very well made, has lots of lens options, and all of the individual pieces can be replaced seperately so if you break something you won't need to buy an entire new mask.

And, as I've learned for using one for 2 years, it is virtually impossible to fog the lenses.

Everyone I know who uses a Profiler complains of it fogging up, even early in games. Maybe it's due to it's lack of a thermal lens.

In contrast, everyone who I know who uses an Invision (myself included) never complains about fog. Also fits close to your face creating a smaller target, and it looks cool.

Did I mention that they're cheaper than the Profiler?

i thought the profiler comes with a thermal lense? can you get a thermal lense for the profiler?

It doesn't come with one, but you can purchase a thermal lens for it. I'd still go with the Invision. Profilers look bigger and bulkier to me.

maybe a dye, love my mask. and if u play in tourneys u might not want to cut your mask, if the reffs are really strict u wont be able to play with that mask.  and the profilers have thermal lenses so if u want to get that, it most likely wont fog up.

No, Profilers do not have thermal lenses. At least not standard. You can buy a thermal lens for it.

No, you don't need a thermal lense for any V-Force mask. The Anti-Fog coating is  better than a thermal lense.  I dont know of nayone that sells a thermal lense for teh Profilers.

you can kind of work it out by looking at the profilers lense then looking at the invisions, the invisions is a fair bit smaller, anyway the vforce profilers masks have got the best pheriphal vison you can get except the vents

That's wierd.  I was just at a friend's place over the weekend where it had just snowed.  We were going to start playing, and I was in a bunker for about 15 minutes on defense.  I had a VForce Armor or Shield (I forget which, pretty cheap) mask before and it would fog up right away in those low temps.  My Profiler didn't fog up at all.

I never did get to shoot, since people were having too much trouble with their markers in the 30-something F degree temps, but I at least got to find out that the Profiler reviews weren't wrong about it not fogging up.  I made sure to run around with it a bit, to try and fog it up but I couldn't.
