I would suggest getting a hopper, I would suggest the Egg2 or Halo/ReloaderB. Chest plates are a waste of money. They slow you down. If you cant take a hit from time to time, you shouldn't be playing.

I would suggest a new barrel before getting a electirc hopper. The Lapco Bigshot is the best bang of your buck.

dont expect answers like every 5 minutes, anyway marbalizes are good, it really depends on what barrel you have bacuase you want the paintball to be the same size as the barrel to get the best accuaracy

The Lapco Bigshot is medium bore so it will proform well with mos t paints.

Check the http://ottersccustoms.com/paintc.html - Paintball Size Chart .

don't waste money on a chest plate. in time, you will grow fond of the feeling of paint breakage on your flesh...its beautiful. Plus, a motorized hopper will assist you in breaking paint on others and not in your barrel...which is also beautiful!!!

I dont know if any of u guys have seen it buti got a the A-5 hopper and Cyclone Feed System that hooks to my custom 98 Ive never seen them but it was on ebay for 60 bucks. this kid should get one of these, i think its better than an e hopper. new barrel is a plus i have the 32degrees 14"whisper on mine its great fot woods ball cause its supose 2 be the the most quit 1 u can get and still shoots great. And protectors are for whimps. If u cant take a hit go play lazer tag.

yea a chest plate is really unneccessary. its a huge waste of money. and just like snake said you should look into a barrel before u look into a new hopper. if u get like an egrip or a response trigger then u should get a electric hopper. but since u dont have that its not needed.

well not many people will agree with me but i would recomend a freak kit. It can go on just about any gun and you will be able to use any paint on the market. I have one and I LOVE it to no end.

Also dont get an egg or a halo B get like a viewloader revolution. its cheaper and does feed fast enough on a 98 custom.

you got ripped off... all the stores around here had them for $30 befor they discontinued them :p

BTW, nobody said mask!

What kind of mask do you have?  It's the most important part of your equipment.  You can't play paintball without a mask, but you can play without a gun.

Heheheh.... Slingshots are fun.

get a J&J 12" ceramic and an electric hopper.  Chest plates are for wusses.  Don't like the feeling of getting hit, you have 2 options to prevent it:  Don't get shot, don't play paintball.  Chest hits don't hurt.  Its the finger hits that hurt.

I would go with the J&J also
100% agreed with what bald said about chest plates. The feeling of getting hit is part of the thrill of playing paintball. Mask is the only important protective accessory. Finger hits don't even really hurt. The only place it really really hurt is when i got hit in the family jewels with an A-5 with a flatline. The only other place it really hurts is the inside of your thigh. But trust me, chest and back are the best places to get hit, atleast for me.

Agree with the concept, but not the choice. I would go with a J&J Ceramic instead.

Getting shot in the chest doesnt hurt at all. Its the fingers and necks you have to watch out for, the shots sting but not bad.
