I've never really worked w/ macro line before, and got an expansion chamber on ebay w/ it. I really am not a fan on the steel braided line, so i figured i'd give macro a shot. I can always switch if i have a problem. So, my question is about how stiff the line feels. Maybe i had an idea in my head of it being more flexible, but how stiff is it usually? I feel like it might snap or something. Hopefully i'm just over-worrying and you guys can tell me to go ahead and bend away. Thanks!
Edit: Maybe this is in the wrong forum section? idk

It's pretty stiff. Kind of hard to bend.

Yep. Personally, I don't like Macro line. I prefer the steel braided hose. Macro line has a habbit of leaking. Just watch out for it.

Macro line also has a tendency to blow out, so if you use it you should have an on/off for your tank. And always carry an extra length of macro line in your bag in case you need to make repairs.

Do you think that macroline would be a better choice w/ HPA moreso than CO2? I have read a couple different things trying to do some macroline research, and the cold temp. from CO2 seems to add to the problems w/ macro. After reading all the topics about HPA here, i am starting to think more and more about switching.

I am thinking about not using the macro and sticking with the steel-braided for a bit. It seems to be easier to work with and have less of a chance to screw something up. Thanks for the help though.

Macroline is not intended to handle the high pressures of non-regulated CO2 (except for the Kapp brand). Its maximum usual pressure falls in the 265 to 350 psi range.
I do see people using it right off the ASA, and they get away with it for a while. But, it won't last and doesn't fare well with the temps of CO2. Kapp tube is the only brand I have found that will take the pressures and temperatures right off the ASA with CO2.
