hi, im new to paintballing and im just woundering if the tipman 98 custom can be automatic or is it only semi-automatic?

It can be automatic, with some upgrades.

| its a response trigger. if u find the sweet spot on it it will shoot like full auto. and there really not all that hard to install either. |

im thinking of putting a m4 barrel kit into the tippmann 98 custom. would it make it a better gun? or should i just buy seperate parts and add them on?

don't buy any junk to make it look like a real gun unless you ONLY want it to look like a real gun. Unless you put a high quality barrel inside the m4 handguard etc. the gun will be just as crappy as it would be stock. The only way to have true full automatic fire is with an E-grip. things you must know: 1.) E-grip isn't cheap 2.) Full auto fire is illegal on most fields, so ask the field you'll be playing at befor you buy somthing that is useless to you. 3.) Without a fast hopper (which can also get expensive) the gun will simply break balls inside the chamber, so upgrade to a cyclone or an electronic hopper unless you plan on setting the full auto setting to 6-7 balls per second (which is a speed easily maintained on a stock mechanical semi-auto tippmann anyways.) ------------- Tippmann A-5 Polished Internals E-Grip Ape Board JCS Blade Trigger QEV 8" Bigshot + Apex Ricochet R-5 / Tac Cap Palmers Stabilizer 68/4500 Crossfire |

ok so the things i wanna add on is a barrel. im thinking of the lapoc bigshot. can you guys name me some good brands for other stuff on the gun like hoppers etc...

yea i got a 14" smart parts progressive i love it but i was lookin at
the lapco b4 i got mine but i really like mine also i had a question
bout the rt and the hopper issue suppose i only wanted like 3 shot
burst outa the rt the stock hopper wld b jsut fine with that right? ...
my friends a5 is bad for me 2 compare cause cyclone so id figure id ask

Instead of worrying about paintball upgrades, I would suggest that you invest in some english classes. They will help you more in the long-run anyways. -------------

Dang Snake, bad day today? Also, since when could you put an e-grip on a 98C? Ya nubs are giving some bad advice. 98 Pro has an E-grip, 98C has the E-bolt (twice as much as an e-grip and the e-bolt is not made by Tippmann anymore) Correct? -------------

Bird flues good. Tried syphillis lately? heard its a real rush.

| No need to make gun full auto. Semi is olny allowed at fields anyway. Geta bigger c02 tank and maybe a barrel. 10" Lapco Bigshot is aswome. Try to play a bit to realy find out what you need, Not what people say. |
