UGGGHHHHH.... i don't like milsim and it seems like everywhere i turn i see it. ahhhhh i'm going crazy, i'm a speedball fanatic and this is not mixing well.

sorry about you not liking milsim guns, but don't forget that Tippmann
guns appeal greatly to those that are into milsim and scenario style
play. You don't have to knock them because of their preference. I don't
knock speedballers just because I choose not to play speedball. Why
don't you think of more constructive things to post besides flaming
people.

We evolved and crawled out of the woods long ago. There's a reason people start in the woods, and THEN start playing speedball. Everybody needs to calm down. We all need to realize that everyone has
their own preferences and their own reasons for choosing one thing over
another. It's as simple as that, to waste time arguing about which is
better is a stupid waste of time and energy, not to mention it creates
tention between the two groups. Play the style you like and leave it at
that, theres no need in creating hard feelings just because you want to
tell your opinion. Be sensitive to others for once. Really, give it a
try, it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside...

Actually u got it backwards idiot.. Most people start in speedball (especially when young) and then evolve into woodsball. Sometimes because of age, sometimes because of preference) but either way that's more the norm. |

actually when people start they usuallu start in the backyard of their friend's house not in the middle of an airball field with 20bps flying at them...but as which they evolve into its not evolution...its finding a preferance some people like he competition of speedball and some people love the tatical play of woodsball...its all preferance -------------

hey i was in padre last week. crazy times. And i halfway agree with you about the milsim guns. I dont like paintball markers that look like real guns. ive been playing this game for a long time, and the only people that had those milsim guns were homeade and they were only used in scenario games. I remember when they first came out with those crappy M16 lookalikes available to the public and i was not happy bout that. I mean back then we were trying really hard to seperate ourselves from the stereotype that all paintballers are crazy paramilitary wackos. Those guns made it harder. I do like all the new guns that have the ability to make it look more tactical per se woodsball...but all those markers that look identical to an actual firearm....i mean its paintball, not airsoft....but whatever paintball has changed so much over the years, and people's opinons of paintballers is better nowadays so i guess it doesnt even matter. i suppose i still hold a grudge. ------------- Red/Black E-Class Orrcle |

Back in the day, at big games, speedball was the wormup game for
woodsball. I think it should stay that way, all the speedballers think
they're such hot $$$$, but really there all rich, fat, and gumpy.

Anyway, speedball is ok, but I prefer woodsball, and the only thing about milsims that I don't like is that they make other people in our community think we are all carrying around M16's and going out to our backyards and shooting each other with them. actually no.. your not getting the difference.. U can play speedball in your backyard and it's still speedball.. you do not have to be on a professional course to play speedball. Speedball can be played on any small size backyard of field when u choose to play in close proximety and utalize all speedball type markers. Milsim is played using playing field that utalize miles of land and different tactics.. grenades, Smoke, Morters, etc.... U have to plan your tactics based on a 2, 3 or more acre course.. Not a 50 x 50 lot etc. That's the difference... so Actually People usually start playing speedball as I said.. and then later on change to woodsball. it's all a preference as u said. If u like speedball.. that's kool.. there's nothing wrong with speedball at all. If u like Milsim that's kool also.. they're just different types of Paintball. But the hating on Milsim on here is out of control. Did u guys who only love speed ball type guns ever consider that some of us can't stand colorful Ions and girly markers that many of u carry also? There's two sides to it... If you only like one side then fine.. but don't try to tell us your side is better than the other just because u like it. |

ok...if ur talkin about milsim thats diff then woodsball...woodsball is paintball in the woods milsim is a scenario game usually played in the woods...speedball is played in a close range field so a backyard can go either way depending on ur backyard...and yes there are people who love there speedball markers but there are more tippmann owners here, i think...and ur statement on not stating whos side is better is so true cuz its all opinion and i think to love paintball u havta love playing anywhere under and circumstances just as long as its paintball -------------
