Is there any other regular maintenance I need to do after each session besides cleaning out paint and oiling. Also, what needs oiled on the C-3 and how do I oil it? (I read the manual, it doesn't explain much on oiling) |

I really can't tell you because I don't have one. But if I did, I would
just call Tippmann and ask for a member of the technical support team
and just ask them what they suggest. They would know better than anyone
else. Good luck!

On page 13 of the manual "Rear valve/piston cleaning: It is important to periodically clean the rear valve and piston" yadda yadda bunch of extremely specific steps on how to do it. Not to be a jerk, but maybe you should read more. -------------

Enos, you're usually more helpfull than that... I read that part and everything. I was just asking about what needs to be oiled before/after each session. |

I would say just yank the rear piston after playing and clean it off if its dirty.

He was very helpful. Actually, you said it didn't cover much of anything about necessary cleaning. He told you to be more self suficient...and use a little common sense. Any part that slides against another or any "O" ring that moves while maintaining a seal against any moving surface needs a little oil, a few drops now and then. Specifically: The manual says to use WD-40 to clean. Did you notice the instructions to use lithium grease anywhere? Page 13 of the manual: Under Rear valve & Piston cleaning. Lines D, E, and F are pretty specific. Page #18 section 17 is also pretty specific. You said you read the manual? Do it again! There will be a test! -------------

Yep, they sure would. After they finish suppressing their laughter I am sure they'd suggest he actually read the manual...with the TV turned off this time. Everything he says he cannot find is in the manual! -------------

One of the most knowledgeable people on the site and you whine that he didn't warm the pablum enough before a virtual spoon feeding? Every bit of knowledge in life isn't assembled cook book style. Much of it takes a little deductive reasoning and extrapolation. Enos pointed you in the general direction and gave you a very slight boot in the pants on a self guided tour...I am surprised you didn't threaten to sue! Or pout. Oh, wait, you did pout. The tone of your complaint probably connotes a protruding bottom lip while typing.
