I weakened drive spring could be the problem. Make sure you don't have any valve leaks. You might want to look into the Maddman Spring Kit. It contains springs of varying tensions for different velocities.

Clean and Oil your gun and ASA. Then if you stil got problems you could try a new spring or replace your cup seal Oring for $.30 form your pro shop.

Take out your old spring and take it to a shop and ask to see a new spring. Put them together and check the length, if yours is shorter then that is your problem. That was my problem and it was a nice $3.00 fix.

You better wear a cup, I'm a pretty good shot...

"...seems like...?" It registers a low velocity on the chronograph? You didn't crack anyones goggles so the velocity  "seems like its shooting really weak?" Don't want to cause any injury? Spend $70 for an X-Radar. It reads velocity, balls per second and ramping.

You do realize that with a little bit of inattention while changing springs and adjusting velocity that your marker can launch paint as fast as 500 fps? This is approaching the velocity of some subsonic rounds from a 45 automatic fire arm. Even if you don't punch an eye out (thus actually killing your opponent) high velocity hits on skin will leave scars. BUY A CHRONOGRAPH!

I recommend this one:
